CALL FOR PAPERS

The Institution of Electrical and Electronics Engineers Pakistan (IEEEP), Karachi centre, is pleased to invite papers for the "24th Annual Multi-Topic International Symposium" to be held on 8th-9th April, 2009 at Hotel Pearl Continental, Karachi Pakistan. The theme for this symposium is "Self-reliance....need of the hour"

This Symposium has acquired a reputation of an important annual event for the community of electrical, electronics and telecommunication engineers and engineering students to showcase their talents in Pakistan.

Papers are invited from Engineers and students to be presented at the Symposium. Interested persons are requested to submit the title and synopsis of the paper clearly identifying the topics area latest by January 15, 2009.

The technical committee of IEEEP shall consider paper on topics of general relevance to electrical power energy, electronics/telecommunication engineering and energy conservation with maximum utilization of available energy resources.

Notification of Acceptance by IEEEP January 31, 2009
Submission of Final Papers March 07, 2009

Guidelines for Paper Submission

Most Important

Kindly note that papers/material on PDF files will not be accepted. The final draft of the paper may please be transmitted on the following format:

  • The papers should be supplied on Diskette/CD/DVD/USB Flash Drive or via email.
  • The text of the matter should be typed in MSWord and/or MS PowerPoint presentation.
  • The matter of the paper should be saved as a text document. Use A-4 size paper setup, 1 inch margins on all four sides, 1.5 line space, "size 12" Times New Roman Font. Block paragrph style should be adopted with justification on both sides. Capital bold words should be used for all headings.
  • A hard copy (printout) of the paper should be provided along with the soft copy.
  • Hard copy should be provided on A-4 size paper bearing page number marking in the upper right hand corner.
  • The photograps if any should be supplied in the same size required to be printed. Only Black and White images would be printed therefore either supply B/W photographs or such coloured photographs which can be produced in B/W with good detail. The photographs should be pasted in the hard copy at appropriate places along with captions, if any.
  • The paper may be restricted to a maximum of six (6) pages of A-4 size.
