ENGR. ISHTIAQUL HAQUE
Engr. Ishtiaqul Haque is the renowned Business Consultant, Director at Smart Technology Systems Pvt. Ltd and advisor to CEO, Elsewedy Electric Pakistan.
He worked for 32 years in Siemens Pakistan and spearheaded BU Transformers to new heights with the addition of Power Transformers manufacturing plant.
He guides and supports organizations in the area of Business Management, Energy Conservation, manufacturing of Power & Distribution transformers and switchboards.
ENGR. KHALID PERVEZ
An Electrical Engineer by profession, Engr Khali Pervez did his BE in 1971 from NED and MS in 1981 from Northwestern University, Ill. USA. He has a rich and diversified experience spanned over 50+ years, including his 15 years stint (1972-87) as a faculty member at the NED University and encompasses experience of consulting and project management disciplines. While at NED, he also served as Member Senate, Member Syndicate, and the University Provost.
While working at a consulting house and a project management company, he had the opportunity of working on highly important large-scale projects of rural electrification, energy conservation, power generation, and multi-million T&D expansion project of K-Electric. With the functions of project and construction management, he also worked on national level construction projects including Gaddafi Stadium Lahore, National Stadium Karachi – both for World Cup 1996, Shaukat Khanum Cancer Hospital Lahore, and Arabian Sea Country Club.
Engr. Khalid started his multi-disciplinary consulting firm in 1997, named KPWS Consulting which offers services in MEP Engineering, Power Generation, Energy Modelling and Management, Renewables, etc. The company enjoys excellent reputation in the market for quality of services, innovation, and undisputed integrity. He’s a PEC registered ‘Professional Engineer’ and its life member.
Engr. Khalid has extensively travelled and has authored more than 12 papers in symposia and seminars. He remained Hony. Secretary and Vice Chairman, IEEEP Karachi Centre, Vice Chairman, IEEE (USA) Karachi Chapter in the past and has been a member of KCCI and Marketing Association of Pakistan. Currently, he’s Chairman, IEEEP, Karachi Centre for the 2021-23 tenure.
ENGR. MUNIS SIDDIQUI
The Honorary Secretary of IEEEP Karachi Centre, Engr. Munis Siddiqui is a seasoned corporate professional having a diversified experience of almost 03 decades with Multinational & National Companies.
He has done his Masters in Electrical Engineering from NED University of Engineering & Technology and is a registered Professional Engineer (PE). He is a Fellow of IEEEP and a Life Time Member of Pakistan Engineering Council (PEC) as well.
Engr. Munis Siddiqui possesses a vast and diversified professional experience of almost 03 decades with a strategic vision and proven ability to conceive, develop and implement the strategy and plans for all functional areas of a global business. His professional experience span over progressively responsible managerial positions; having knowledge of manufacturing, business development, project management, sales & marketing, trading / distribution processes, supply chain; and exposure to a diversified customer base. He is also a Certified Project Manager by PM ZERT- Germany.
Engr. Munis Siddiqui has worked for the world renowned engineering firm SIEMENS for more than 16 years, and is presently associated with Atlas Group of Companies as General Manager. During his professional career he has led different functional units in the field of Power Generation, Energy Transmission & Distribution, High/Medium/Low voltage installations, Industrial Automation projects, Security Equipment and Aids to Navigation both locally and internationally. He also had the opportunity to work in Germany for almost 02 years on several international projects which added a valuable international exposure to his credit.
ENGR. MUHAMMAD RIAZ CHAUDHRY
Muhammad Riaz Chaudhry is an accomplished Electrical Engineer with extensive experience in plant engineering, construction, commissioning, maintenance, operation, and optimization. After graduating from NED Engineering University in 1982, he began his career at Siemens Pakistan and later worked in various national and multinational heavy process plants, including Cement, Chemical, Petrochemical, and Fertilizer industries.
During the course of his career, he led three major green field projects, overseeing engineering, construction, commissioning, and operation and held senior-level positions in Plant Operation, Maintenance, and Technical Departments. Additionally, he is a trained Hazard Study Leader and hazard analyst, and has conducted electrical, engineering, and HSE audits both nationally and internationally. Notably, he served as Responsible Electrical Engineer, Responsible Instruments Engineer, and Design Authority during his tenure at ICI Pakistan Limited.
Riaz Chaudhry played a crucial role in the due diligence of a Fertilizer Plant in Poland and Cement Plants in Pakistan. He excels in troubleshooting high, medium, and low voltage distribution and generation systems and is skilled in preparing proposals for system upgrades.
Since 2018, Riaz Chaudhry is working as a Principal Consultant at BE2C2. BE2C2 caters to the needs of the heavy process industry in Pakistan. Its portfolio includes but is not limited to reliability assessment; engineering, HSE and energy audits; PHA & HAZOP studies; as well as electrical and control systems upgrades.
ENGR. IMRAN ZAFAR
A visionary leader and focused corporate professional, Electrical Engineer from NED University Karachi, holds MBA Marketing Degree from Institute of Business Management Karachi.
Serving as Director at Enercon Systems Pvt Ltd and Country Manager of Enercon Asia Pte Ltd Singapore in Pakistan.
In Past, associated with Siemens Pakistan Engg Co. Ltd & Siemens Germany as Manager & Project Manager respectively.

During his 18 years plus of professional career, He has been blessed to get exposure via major local & international assignments; he selected and trained as future leader, he got on job training in Germany, Turkey and Singapore on Gas Insulated Switchgears, Air Insulated Switchgears and Generator Synchronizing & controls respectively.
