ENGR. MUNIS SIDDIQUI
The Vice Chairman of IEEEP Karachi Centre, Engr. Munis Siddiqui is a seasoned & experienced corporate professional having a diversified experience of three decades with Multinational & National Companies.
He has done his Masters in Electrical Engineering from NED University of Engineering & Technology and is a registered Professional Engineer (PE). He is a Fellow of IEEEP and a Life Time Member of Pakistan Engineering Council (PEC) and Institution of Engineers Pakistan (IEP) as well.
Engr. Munis Siddiqui possesses a vast and diversified professional experience of 3 decades with a strategic vision and proven ability to conceive, develop and implement the strategy and plans for all functional areas of a global business. His professional experience spans over progressively responsible managerial positions; having knowledge of manufacturing, business development, project management, sales & marketing, trading / distribution processes, supply chain; and exposure to a diversified customer base. He is also a Certified Project Manager by PM ZERT- Germany.
Engr. Munis Siddiqui has worked for the world-renowned engineering firm SIEMENS for more than 16 years, and is presently associated with Atlas Group of Companies as General Manager. During his professional career he has led different functional units in the field of Power Generation, Energy Transmission & Distribution, High/Medium/Low voltage installations, Industrial Automation projects, Security Equipment and Aids to Navigation both locally and internationally. He also had the opportunity to work in Germany for almost 02 years on several international projects which added a valuable international exposure to his credit.
ENGR. MUHAMMAD NAVID AKRAM ANSARI
Engr. Muhammad Navid Akram Ansari is a very dedicated and enthusiastic engineering and management professional with dual major, a B.E. in Electrical Engineering from NED University of Engineering and Technology, Karachi, an M.S. in Electrical Engineering from University of Houston, USA, and an M.B.A. in Marketing from IBA, Karachi.
He started his professional career as a product design engineer in the field of telecommunication in 1988 and then became a pioneering entrepreneur in the field of electronics in the country by setting up his own business in 1992. His firm Systek (Pvt.) Ltd. has designed and produced more than 35 products in the fields of ICT, Clean and Renewable Energy in the past 33 years, while successfully commercializing each
one of them. These products include EPABX Systems, Intercom Systems, Line-interactive and On-line Sine-wave UPS Systems, Solid-state Power-line Conditioners, MPPT Solar Charge Controllers, Hybrid Solar Power Systems, MPPT Solar Pump Inverters and many more. He has been the CEO and Managing Director of his firm since its inception.
Engr. Navid remained engaged with IEEEP even when he was a student. He actively joined Karachi Local Council in 2003 and rose through the
ranks to become its Honorary Secretary, Vice Chairman and Vice President (South) before becoming its Chairman. Besides being a Fellow of IEEEP and a Lifetime Member of PEC, he is the Chairman of National Standards Committee for Electronics and Member of Technical Committee for Power Electronics of Pakistan Standards and Quality Control Authority – PSQCA. He remains on the list of Curriculum and Industry Advisory Boards of engineering universities.
ENGR. IMRAN ZAFAR
Engr. Imran Zafar stands as a visionary leader and dedicated corporate professional. He earned his Electrical Engineering degree from NED University, Karachi, and holds an MBA in Marketing from the Institute of Business Management, Karachi. He is Senior Member of IEEE USA and Fellow Member at IEEEP Pakistan.
He is the CEO of Enercon Systems Pvt Ltd and Regional Director of Enercon Asia Pte Ltd Singapore for Middle East, Saudia and Africa region. Previously, he was associated with Siemens Pakistan Eng. Co. Ltd & Siemens Germany as Manager & Project Manager respectively.
He is pioneer of Enercon Systems in Pakistan, subsidiary of Enercon global group, started with one man army and developed a team of competent professional engineers who now oversee Pakistan & Middle East Business for Enercon Group in Customized Energy Solutions.
Recently, he has been included in top 100 CEOs book published by CEO Club of Pakistan. During his 20 years of professional career, He has been blessed to get exposure via major local & international assignments; he selected and trained as future leader, he got on job training in Germany, Turkey and Singapore on Gas Insulated Switchgears, Air Insulated Switchgears and Generator Synchronizing & controls respectively.
His areas of interest are Management, Business Development & Planning, Team building, new products & portfolio development etc. He is always looking to help young engineers in career planning & professional grooming.
ENGR. MUHAMMAD RIAZ CHAUDHRY
Muhammad Riaz Chaudhry is an accomplished Electrical Engineer with extensive experience in plant engineering, construction, commissioning, maintenance, operation, and optimization. After graduating from NED Engineering University in 1982, he began his career at Siemens Pakistan and later worked in various national and multinational heavy process plants, including Cement, Chemical, Petrochemical, and Fertilizer industries.
During the course of his career, he led three major green field projects, overseeing engineering, construction, commissioning, and operation and held senior-level positions in Plant Operation, Maintenance, and Technical Departments. Additionally, he is a trained Hazard Study Leader and hazard analyst, and has conducted electrical, engineering, and HSE audits both nationally and internationally. Notably, he served as Responsible Electrical Engineer, Responsible Instruments Engineer, and Design Authority during his tenure at ICI Pakistan Limited.
Riaz Chaudhry played a crucial role in the due diligence of a Fertilizer Plant in Poland and Cement Plants in Pakistan. He excels in troubleshooting high, medium, and low voltage distribution and generation systems and is skilled in preparing proposals for system upgrades.
Since 2018, Riaz Chaudhry is working as a Principal Consultant at BE2C2. BE2C2 caters to the needs of the heavy process industry in Pakistan. Its portfolio includes but is not limited to reliability assessment; engineering, HSE and energy audits; PHA & HAZOP studies; as well as electrical and control systems upgrades.
ENGR. AHMED REHAN LUTFI
Rehan Lutfi is a thorough professional having 23 plus years of diverse experience in Marketing, Sales, Business Development & Product Management. He likes to connect with people, build trust and deliver impactful results.
Rehan has worked at leading positions with some top multinational companies locally and internationally. During his professional career, he got the opportunity to attend several international trainings from world renowned trainers on subjects like Strategy Execution, Balance Scorecard, Leadership Skills, Coaching for Change, Advance Selling Skills etc.
He has done his Bachelors in Electrical Engineering from NED University, and MBA (Marketing) from the Institute of Business Administration (IBA), Karachi. He is an active Member of IEEEP and a Life Time Member of Pakistan Engineering Council (PEC) as well.
He is currently serving as Director Sales & Marketing at Hussain & Co, Licensee partner of ABB, and one of the leading Switchgear Companies in Pakistan. In the past, he has worked with some of the most respected and world-renowned companies like Schneider Electric, ALSTOM, AREVA, Abunayyan Holding. His expertise lies in Strategic Business Development, Driving Growth, Strategic Partnerships and Alliances, Price Management, Product Launches, Developing Balance Score Card, and Building Culture of Trust and Effective Collaboration across diverse teams.
He has been an active sportsman and earned several laurels at university in various sports, and presently as veteran player. His determination makes him standout not only in sports but also in his professional career. His takes keen interest in Badminton, Athletics and Cricket.
